Isn't it such an interesting phenomena that we can each be such experts on an issue a friend is having, but then find ourselves stumped when we encounter that same issue or hiccup in our own life (or startup)?
I just experienced this phenomena when talking with my Business Bestie. Side note: A Business Bestie (BB) is a must when you've decided to take the leap to start your own business. More on that (and how to find your BB) in my next blog post. Back to what I was saying...the hiccup this time was centered around 'getting the word out' about my business. What do I say? Who do I share it with? Logically, I know the answers to these questions but came up short when it came to me and my startup. If this hiccup were afflicting any one of my clients I'd have the answers, accompanied by personalized goals and the steps to achieving their goals in no time flat! I know that I am not alone though. (I can't be or the self-help industry wouldn't be the $10 billion per year industry it is today, in the U.S. alone.) Freezing in the face of a startup hiccup is what taking the leap is all about. But it's defrosting and conquering that hiccup that stands between you and your dream startup. It is this journey of overcoming your startup hiccups and building the business you've always dreamed of that I'll map out here along with tried-and-true steps and solutions. Looking for some tried-and-true steps and solutions to a specific startup hiccup of yours? Please share with me some of your most recent (or not so recent) hiccups and together we'll get you over them. OR Just let me know that you love knowing that you're not alone when it comes to startup hiccups.
